Born in the early 1900s, the original “wall dogs” were traveling artists who painted advertisements on barns and buildings in all weather conditions. Today’s Walldogs carry on this legacy, preserving handcrafted sign design and brush lettering techniques that were nearly lost to modern technology. Since our first official meet in 1993, we have grown into a global movement that revitalizes communities through collaborative, large-scale public art.
